The Off-Ice Skate replicates the working of a conventional ice skate. Unlike a traditional inline skate where all the wheels are in a straight line profile the Off-Ice Skate chassis has a uniquely curved, rockered profile. When Off-Ice Skating, generally there are only 2 wheels in contact with the ground at any given time. This assists the skater to transfer their weight back and forth enabling them to turn and jump just likes an ice skater. When you spin, there is only 1 wheel in contact with the ground. These skills are also made possible by the aid of the toe rake.
